So, what will I be doing?
We are looking for a bright and smiley individual to join our small, friendly team. Working at the Yeo Valley Canteen in the main kitchen as Kitchen Porter, this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to work in a kitchen, in a friendly, organised environment! The day to day will include a bit of everything to be honest as we love variety, however key roles are;
Washing up
Support the chefs in basic prep
Maintaining a clean environment
Accepting and putting away deliveries
Completion of due diligence
Hours: This is a permanent, part time role, working a minimum of 20 hours per week over 3 days, predominantly Monday to Friday, with very occasional weekends.
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
You need to love people! The ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure is a must and a sense of humour certainly helps.
In return you will learn new skills, be supported and be part of a friendly award-winning team.
Be positive and flexible in your approach to work.
Have excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work regarding cleanliness, tidiness and health and safety.
Experience preferred but not required

Why should I join the family?
We’re always on the lookout for talented people to come and join us here in the Valley. We might be a group of businesses all owned by the Mead family, but we do things very differently here. Everyone who works with us is part of our family (all 1800 of us).
We’ve got 10 sites spanning 8 locations across Somerset, Devon, and most recently London, and we’ve got people doing all sorts of things, from hospitality and property management through to sales and marketing as well as technical, engineering, farming and dairy
operations roles.
We’re sure you don’t need convincing, but there’s a whole host of benefits that we offer including:
Competitive holiday allowance
Non-contributory pension scheme
Life cover
Healthcare cash back plan
Subsidised Yeo Valley products and services
