As part of our continued investment in operational excellence, we are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to maintain and support the performance of critical port and marine hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, servicing, and repairs of hydraulic systems on marine and port equipment, including linkspans, RORO systems, cranes, winches, hydraulic engines, and auxiliary deck systems.

Diagnose faults in hydraulic circuits and execute effective repairs using appropriate diagnostic tools and pressure testing equipment.
*
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation to support fault finding and system optimisation.
*
Provide emergency support for unplanned breakdowns or system failures, often in marine or exposed environments, ensuring minimal operational downtime.
*
Liaise with OEMs and internal engineering teams regarding system upgrades, component replacements, and hydraulic retrofits.
*
Maintain up-to-date service records, fault logs, and manage spares through the company’s ERP and inventory tracking systems.
*
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, including permit-to-work procedures, lifting operations, and internal engineering standards.
Ideal Candidate:

Hands-on experience with marine or heavy industrial hydraulic systems.
*
Strong understanding of hydraulic theory, diagnostics, and fluid power systems.
*
Confident reading hydraulic schematics and technical documents.
*
Ability to work under pressure in port or vessel-based environments.
*
Familiarity with ERP systems for maintenance recording and inventory control.
*
