At St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust, we are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in supporting our academies and senior leaders to deliver outstanding outcomes across our Trust. This is a full time and permanent position.

About the Role

This is far more than a traditional finance role. As a key member of our central finance team, you will:

• Partner with school leaders and senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial insight
• Support decision‑making that directly enhances educational outcomes and operational effectiveness
• Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across a diverse portfolio
• Challenge, influence, and support leaders to ensure best value and sustainable growth

You’ll operate at the heart of the organisation, combining technical expertise with strong relationship‑building to drive performance and innovation.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is a credible and confident finance professional (qualified or part‑qualified)
• Has the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight
• Builds strong partnerships and can influence at all levels
• Demonstrates integrity, sound judgement, and a proactive mindset
• Is motivated by making a meaningful difference in a values‑driven organisation

Experience in education or the charitable sector is welcome but not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead, collaborate, and deliver impact.
