We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Science Technicians to join our supply team as we are getting increased demand for Science Technicians in Secondary schools in the Wrexham area. As a Science Technician you will work closely with teaching staff to prepare practical lessons, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and well-organised laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare equipment, materials, and resources for science lessons and practical activities
* Support teaching staff during practical sessions where required
* Maintain, organise, and safely store science equipment and chemicals
* Carry out routine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance of equipment
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
* Dispose of waste safely and appropriately
* Provide general technical support across Biology/Chemistry/Physics as appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* A good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in science and maths
* Practical science knowledge (school-based or laboratory experience desirable)
* An understanding of health and safety procedures in a laboratory environment
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A calm, flexible, and proactive approach to work
* Experience working in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)
