As our Communications Officer you be responsible for planning, drafting and distributing a wide range of content and communications to ensure our members and suppliers are informed and connected about AIS. Overseeing the Hub and AIS communications channels in an effective and impactful way to drive the reputation of AIS. Key responsibilities Deliver the annual member engagement communications plan to include: Annual calendar of communications that drive throughput of CENPAC and services Delivering an annual roadmap for the Hub’s development Producing communications and content that can be repurposed on the hub, web and our social channels Support quarterly hub strategy meetings Support on press management of member news Report on performance of communications and hub performance Ensure Web is maintained and kept up to date Oversee and write news pages and LinkedIn content Review performance and campaign activity Support launch and on-going delivery of annual supplier communications plan to include: To ensure suppliers are promoted on hub Create a supplier led engagement plan to drive their loyalty to AIS Support the Marketing team to enable the sharing of key insights across all digital channels, as well as championing key company messages, objectives and ambitions. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities on a regular basis, including optimising all content for search engines and paid media and repurpose content for selected channels and formats. Coordinate and assist teams with member newsletters/communications, suggesting content ideas and produce corporate news such as the MD’s newsletters for member Principals and employee newsletters, co-ordinating content, editing and publishing via relevant channel. What we’re looking for in our Communications Officer: Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant marketing qualification, or equivalent experience working in a similar role. Experience in a variety of communications channels, such as social media, email, and public relations Ideally have experience of using google analytics, and industry and best practice bench marking as well as an understanding of SEO and relevance on content creation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Copywriting/storytelling skills accompanied by excellent written English Excellent attention to detail, able to proof and edit others' work. A working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Communication Sites, web content management systems, Yammer and Mail Chimp would be advantageous. High IT literacy and technically proficient in using Microsoft 365 as well as experience of using CRM systems. Analytical mindset, able to examine information or a situation, identify the key elements and make recommendations to solve a problem. Creative outlook, identifying new and innovative solutions, and bringing fresh perspectives to new and existing challenges. Influencing skills, inspiring others and convincing people to back initiatives through a combination of interpersonal, presentation and persuasion capabilities.
