Job Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Stress Engineer to join on an initial 12-month contract. As a Stress Engineer, you will be working within a team of Structural Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads passionate about finding technical solutions to support AIRBUS products.
Job Details
* Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
* Contract: 12-month contract, Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week
* Pay: £46–52 per hour via Umbrella
* IR35 Status: Inside
* Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
* Static structural analysis, composite and metallic.
* Analyze and validate metallic, composites/hybrids structures at component level for static strength, F&D&T and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors per Airbus methods & sizing processes.
* Provide stress analyses for repair/acceptance of metallic, composites/hybrids structures.
* Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
Essential Skills
* Ideally held T400 Concessions Approval previously.
* Airbus open to candidates without approval but with relevant stress and/or concessions experience.
* Experience with other aircraft, military aircraft, or product knowledge.
