The Role
The CompEx Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting electrical systems in hazardous areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role involves working with various electrical equipment and systems, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the safe operation of electrical installations. The position works closely with engineering and maintenance teams to uphold safety and performance standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and inspect electrical systems in hazardous areas.
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe operation of electrical installations.
* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to maintain high safety and performance standards.
* Monitor and report on the condition of electrical systems and equipment.
* Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Who Are We Looking For?
You will need excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong analytical skills, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
* CompEx certification.
* Extensive experience in electrical installations and maintenance in hazardous areas.
