About the Role
As HLTA, you will play a pivotal part in the whole-school team. Working primarily within EYFS, you’ll also provide classroom cover from Reception through to Year 6, delivering engaging lessons using teacher planning and ensuring continuity of high-quality learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and covering whole classes across the school
• Delivering motivating, inclusive and well-structured learning experiences
• Using effective behaviour strategies to promote positive learning environments
• Supporting and observing pupil progress, feeding back to teachers and leaders
• Preparing learning spaces, organising resources and using ICT to enhance lessons
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, families and external professionals
• Acting as a proactive role model aligned with the school’s values and expectations
