Summary
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations within our warehouse, contributing directly to our mission of delivering exceptional home improvement solutions.
Responsibilities
* Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Manage inventory using warehouse management systems.
* Handle materials (heavy at times) with care and ensure proper storage.
* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Perform heavy lifting as required to support warehouse operations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* You must be over aged 25 (for insurance purposes) and hold a valid UK driving licence for 5 years.
* Proven experience working in a warehouse setting.
* Delivery of pvc and glass products to our satellite location in Dartford, Kent
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
* Email and computer literacy.
* Strong knowledge of materials handling practices.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25kg) and assist in heavier lifts.
* Understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
* Basic construction knowledge is advantageous.
