A long-running F&B company in the Bury area are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team in their on-site office. This will be a permanent position, working closely with the Finance Director to assist with Transactional (and later, Management) Accounts.
They are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team of two. This job is ideal for an Accounts Clerk or Finance Assistant in the BL area with at least two years’ experience.
Job description for Senior Accounts Assistant
* Control of both Sales Ledger and Purchase ledger (including Invoice and Credit Note Processing, allocation of payments and account queries)
* Maintenance and implementation of new systems
* Credit Control
* Reconciliations, preparation of payment runs and assisting with management accounts
Job skills required for Senior Accounts Assistant
* Knowledge of finance software to an advanced level.
* Invoice processing knowledge and experience.
* Confidence in all areas of finance.
* AAT Qualification preferable.
* Friendly and professional phone (and email) manner.
* Data entry skills.
