We focus on connecting people, places, and communities through innovative and responsible infrastructure. Our people are our strength, and we harness their expertise to safely design and deliver resilient infrastructure. Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is part of Morgan Sindall Group plc, a leading UK construction and regeneration group with revenues over £3 billion.

Role: Lead Commissioning Engineer

* Participate in some of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects.
* Join a program dedicated to advancing your career.
* Structured career paths with quality internal and external training.
* Competitive pay and rewards.
* Opportunities to work across multiple projects.
* We welcome diverse backgrounds; our partnership earned the Investors in Diversity Award.

About PPP

The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) at Sellafield collaborate with KBR, Jacobs, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Altrad Babcock, and Sellafield Ltd to deliver a 20-year pipeline of major infrastructure projects. This long-term pipeline offers rewarding opportunities to develop skills and progress careers.

The PPP Start Up Capability (Commissioning & Pre-Operations) ensures new-build or modified plants transition safely to operations. With ongoing projects, now is a great time to join PPP and advance your career.

The role

As a Lead Commissioning Engineer, you will direct a team to deliver work aligned with Start Up, Commissioning, and Pre-Operations processes. This includes developing delivery plans, reviewing progress, and collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders. This role offers a pathway to management and senior management positions within a long-term program.

The ideal person

You should have an HNC or equivalent Level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline, with experience leading or supervising a team in a technical or engineering environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, especially given the project's scale and stakeholder diversity. Experience in Nuclear or highly regulated environments is advantageous but not mandatory if you possess the relevant skills and experience.

Morgan Sindall is committed to direct sourcing and does not accept speculative CVs from agencies. Any CVs submitted will be deemed gifted to Morgan Sindall, and agency terms will be null and void.
