Succession Planning Appointment | Commercial Property | Route to Partnership

Oculus Legal Group is exclusively retained on a unique appointment with a well-regarded Scottish law firm as they look to strengthen the long-term future of their highly successful Commercial Property practice in the firms Glasgow office.

This is a genuine succession planning role - an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (7+ years' PQE) who wants to step into a position of autonomy, inherit a long-established and loyal client base and work towards an accelerated step to Partnership in a supportive, forward-looking environment.


The Role

* Take ownership of a strong caseload of commercial real estate transactions from day one.
* Inherit a portfolio of long-term, high-quality clients, ensuring continuity of relationships and future growth.
* Advise on sales, acquisitions, leasing, and development matters across a range of sectors.
* Play a key role in the leadership of the team and contribute strategically to the firm's future direction.
* The role will cover the full range of commercial property work, including acquisitions and disposals, leasing, development, and property finance, acting for a diverse client base across sectors.


What We're Looking For

* A Scottish Qualified Solicitor.
* Ideally have 7+ years' PQE however consideration will be given for those with slightly less PQE who have gained relevant experience during their training contract or earlier career.
* Someone ready to step into a role with genuine autonomy and long-term progression.
* An individual who values both client service excellence and the opportunity to shape a practice for the next generation.
