Overview
The Department of Psychology and Social Work at Teesside is a growing department with teaching from undergraduate to doctorate level across a range of psychology domains including, health psychology, forensic psychology, clinical psychology and social work. Our Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme is a HCPC approved and BPS accredited course which provides an innovative, creative and contemporary training to develop Clinical Psychologists who are able to contribute to, and take leading roles in, the provision of psychological health care throughout NHS Services.
In this role you will contribute to teaching, trainee personal and professional development, research supervision and/or clinical tutoring on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and also contribute research, knowledge exchange, enterprise and business engagement in the Department of Psychology and Social Work in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law. The role also includes equality, diversity and inclusion functions.
Qualifications
* First Degree in Psychology conferring eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society/equivalent professional qualification or significant practical work experience in a related discipline.
* PhD or equivalent doctoral level qualification in a relevant discipline and be registered with the HCPC as a clinical psychologist.
* Willing to achieve a relevant Teaching Qualification such as PGCHE/Higher Education Academy (Associate Fellow/Senior Fellow) accreditation.
* Interest in and/or lived experience of intersectional disadvantage.
