Advanced Practitioner / Professional Lead

Join to apply for the Advanced Practitioner / Professional Lead role at NHS Scotland.

This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours per week, working in accordance with service requirements. The post is based in East Sutherland (Golspie, Scottish Highlands) and offers an opportunity to progress your career and influence care and support in the community.


Responsibilities

* Provide leadership within the Integrated Care Team and act as a leader in community nursing in East Sutherland.
* Offer expertise and advice in the treatment and support of patients in the community and work with the wider multi-disciplinary team and general practice to support high-quality care in patients\' homes.
* Lead training and mentorship within the immediate team/area and, as necessary, with students on placement.
* Utilise leadership qualities to support the evolving health needs of care and support in the area.


Qualifications

* Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree in District Nursing.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with other professionals as a leader in the Integrated Care Team.
* A full UK driving licence is essential; a pool car is available, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes if required.
