Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Swadlincote, Derbyshire – Permanent Late Shift | Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - Midnight – £43,000 + Shift Allowance.
The Role
* Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery and equipment
* Diagnosing and resolving both electrical and mechanical faults
* Supporting machinery modifications, upgrades, and improvement projects
* Working with electrical panels, control boards, switches, and PLC-controlled systems
* Reading and interpreting engineering and electrical drawings
* Ensuring maintenance activities are recorded accurately
* Supporting calibration and servicing schedules across production plant
* Promoting a strong health & safety culture onsite
* Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production
* Supporting risk assessments and method statements where required
* Working collaboratively with production and fabrication teams
* Providing occasional out-of-hours support where necessary
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* NVQ Level 3 qualification minimum (or equivalent)
* Previous experience within a manufacturing or automated production environment
* Strong multiskilled capability across both electrical and mechanical maintenance
* Experience fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems
* Knowledge of electrical panels, logic controls, switches, and production equipment
* A proactive approach to problem solving and team working
* Strong awareness of health & safety practices
Experience working with a variety of PLC systems and European manufacturing machinery would be highly beneficial.

* Salary of £43,000
* Permanent late shift: Monday to Thursday, 2pm - Midnight
