Job overview:
We're seeking an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to join our team on an initial 6-month FTC and play a key role in supporting the delivery and co-ordination of learning and development initiatives across AXA UK. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to oversee learning experiences and programmes, deliver effective management and provide valuable support to the Learning & Development Team.
Reporting to the Senior Learning and Development Business Partner, you'll champion a culture of continuous growth, talent development, and innovation, helping to unlock the potential of our people and drive organisational success.
Key responsibilities:
* Operate as the central point for all Learning & Development activities across AXA UK to understand demand and coordinate delivery.
* Manage and promote the Learning & Development schedule to ensure easy access to upcoming learning opportunities.
* Plan, organise and oversee logistics for learning events, programmes and experiences.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure smooth and high-quality delivery of training solutions.
* Liaise with vendors and external trainers to ensure contractual compliance and quality standards.
* Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS), including participant data and course details.
* Monitor and report on training participation, completion rates, and key metrics for continuous improvement.
* Gather feedback and analyse data to assess programme effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
You'll work full time, 35 hours per week over 5 days, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
Your skills & experience:
* Previous experience in organising and coordinating training or learning programs, ideally within a corporate setting.
* Strong planning and organisational abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive, solution-focused, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Innovative thinker with a passion for introducing new ideas and approaches.
* Proficient in Learning Management Systems and MS Office applications.
* Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices is advantageous.
