About The Business Unit The Energy unit provides services across sectors like thermal, hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable, and transmission & distribution. We support the energy transition globally through integrated engineering and project management from conception to decommissioning.
Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Bid Manager to join our Energy Unit. The role involves preparing compelling, compliant bid documents to secure contracts, collaborating with teams to gather information, and ensuring bids meet client needs and showcase our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Development Manager and WIN Team to craft proposals that secure high-value contracts
Identify and understand prospects with leaders and account leads
Support pipeline and performance monitoring through CRM adoption
Facilitate capture planning and develop bid strategies
Ensure proposal governance and review processes are followed
Lead proposal planning and communication within the team
Develop high-quality, tailored technical proposals
Manage bid preparation, development, and submission
Coordinate with subject matter experts and project managers for content
Review, edit, and ensure compliance and quality of proposals
Maintain and improve bid libraries
Manage proposal team performance and oversee milestone reviews
Conduct post-submission reviews and implement improvements
Share best practices within the pursuit community
Candidate Profile Experience in a similar role within consultancy
Experience bidding in hydropower, thermal, hydrogen, gas, wind, and solar sectors
Proven success in leading and winning proposals
Ability to manage large information volumes and workflows
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Skilled in managing deadlines under pressure
Experience in proofreading and peer reviews
Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and proactive
Collaborative with strong communication skills, adaptable to remote/on-site work
Knowledge of the industry and project management tools
