Financial Controller ready to take ownership of a full finance function and play a central role in driving business performance and growth. This is a hands-on, number one role in finance, offering both strategic input and day-to-day involvement in a fast-moving, product-led environment.

to join a thriving UK business that has experienced steady organic growth and is now aiming to accelerate from 10% to 25% annual growth. The company has invested heavily in UK manufacturing, reshoring production from overseas, and continues to expand its product range.
Working closely with a forward-thinking management team, you will provide commercial insight, drive financial performance, and influence key strategic decisions as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the finance function as the number one in finance, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Bring a strong commercial perspective to financial reporting, supporting better decision-making across the business.
Partner with operations, sales and supply chain teams to enhance margins and support growth initiatives.
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
Stay hands-on with day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement.
Support the companys growth objective of achieving 25% year-on-year expansion through effective commercial control and financial leadership.
About You
Proven experience as a
Financial Controller ,
Finance Manager
or
Head of Finance
within a
fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or product-based environment.
Experience in selling into retail, hardware or related consumer markets, with an understanding of offers, deals and value within the supply chain.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to add value through financial insight.
Hands-on and proactive, with the confidence to influence at board level while remaining involved in day-to-day activity.
Prepared to work five days a week on-site.
Qualifications are less important than experience, capability and attitude.
