An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered nurses to develop their practice and join the multidisciplinary teams within Critical Care Services in NHS Tayside. Critical Care Services comprises four units within the Directorate of Surgery: Ninewells Hospital Intensive Care Unit, Surgical High Dependency Unit, Medical High Dependency Unit, and Perth Royal Infirmary High Dependency/Coronary Care Unit. The role is to work as a single system to enable the effective delivery of high quality patient services for level 2 and level 3 in-patients across Tayside. The services are situated on two sites, approximately 25 miles apart. The successful candidate will have a primary base at Ninewells Hospital ICU with rotational work between the two sites and four units, plus emergency deployment between sites as clinically needed.
You will be required to be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register. Previous experience at band 5 level or above is essential. You will have completed the Flying Start Programme and must be willing to undertake further study.

Responsibilities
