About the Technical Manager job
The purpose of your role will be to oversee all aspects of Quality, Compliance, Specifications, and New Product Development. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining BRC AA* accreditation and upholding exceptional standards in food safety, legality, hygiene, and TACCP.
Key tasks
* Lead and manage all Technical functions including food safety, quality assurance etc, to support business objectives and maintain third-party accreditations.
* Drive cross-functional collaboration with other teams whilst maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
* Oversee all technical systems and standards, including HACCP, BRC, customer codes of practice etc.
* Conduct complaint analysis, and supplier due diligence, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Manage departmental operations and resources, including training, budgets and external contracts while promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
