 
        
        Band 6 – Senior Employee Relations Advisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ER Advisor with NHS experience to support a high-volume caseload in a complex and fast-paced unionised healthcare setting. You will work proactively with managers to resolve ER cases and contribute to the delivery of a supportive, compliant, and effective ER service.
Location: Croydon (4 days on site 1-day WFH)
Job Type: Temporary 
Duration of booking: Expected to last 4 months with possible extension

Pay Rates: Up to £22.09 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
Hours / Working Days: 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
 1. Manage a substantial caseload involving absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues.
 2. Advise and support managers in line with NHS policies and employment legislation.
 3. Work in partnership with staff-side representatives to achieve resolution.
 4. Provide tailored ER advice and guidance to ensure fair and consistent handling of cases.
 5. Support the collation and reporting of ER metrics, including headcount and case volumes.
Requirements:
 6. Essential: NHS employee relations experience.
 7. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment with large headcount and caseloads.
 8. Strong understanding of employment law and NHS terms and conditions.
 9. Able to work on-site a minimum of 4 days per week.
 10. Effective communicator and problem solver with a collaborative approach.
