Scunthorpe | £16 per hour PAYE / £20 per hour Umbrella or CIS | 50 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Contract
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for experienced Scrap Burners to support exciting new project work at British Steel in Scunthorpe.
This is an opportunity to work with a well-established company with more than 30 years of experience in environmental services, steelworks and scrap processing. The organisation is a trusted partner within the industry and is currently experiencing a period of sustained growth.
Key Duties:
Cut scrap metal using oxy-propane cutting equipment.
Work safely within a busy steelworks and scrap processing environment.
Follow site safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Scrap Burner.
Experience using oxy-propane cutting equipment.
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role.
Full UK driving licence.
What We Offer:
£16 per hour PAYE or £20 per hour Umbrella / CIS.
Monday to Friday working pattern.
50 hours per week.
