Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both outside and inside sales, with a focus on B2B sales and account management. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for driving business development initiatives and managing territory sales effectively.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling.
* Manage existing accounts while fostering strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Conduct product demos and provide technical sales support to potential clients.
* Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional efforts.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals while upselling additional products or services as appropriate.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
* Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements
* Proven experience in outside sales, inside sales, or retail sales; B2B experience is highly preferred.
* Strong understanding of account management principles and territory management strategies.
* Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is essential for tracking customer interactions.
* Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
* Demonstrated success in lead generation and direct sales initiatives.
* Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
* Knowledge of marketing strategies related to technology sales is a plus.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for this role.
