Centre for Human Genetics, Building for Genomic Medicine, Roosevelt Drive, Oxford, OX3 7BN On occasion, Mathematical Institute, Andrew Wiles Building, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Software Engineer to join the Centre for Human Genetics at the Nuffield Department of Medicine. You will be working closely with Professor Simon Leedham and Professor Helen Byrne at the Mathematical Institute University of Oxford. You will work as part of the Oxford Spatial Biology Group, a large multidisciplinary team of mathematicians, computational biologists, experimentalists and clinicians, and in collaboration with the research groups of Professors Leedham and Byrne and the Cancer Research UK Oxford Centre. You will support the development of our spatial biology software, MuSpAn. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high quality, reliable and maintainable software that will enable the translational impact of existing research. You will be collaborating with colleagues from the Mathematical Institute, Centre for Human Genetics, and Cancer Research UK Oxford Centre, to support the development and improvement of research software. You will train researchers within the University of Oxford on the effective use of software for research, contribute to the development of training material for workshops and courses offered by the Spatial Biology Group.
