Job Title: Logistics & Operations Support (Temporary)
Location: Lenton, Nottingham, NG7 2PX
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (1 month, with potential extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm or 9:30 am–6:00 pm

About the Role

We are currently supporting a pharmaceutical storage and distribution company in need of experienced logistics support during an extremely busy period. This role sits within the Operations Department, rotating between Customer Service and Logistics teams, providing crucial support across day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

*

Processing orders timely and accurately, including collections and printing labels

*

Escalating stock shortages as needed

*

Arranging freight forwarding requirements

*

Maintaining accurate records and documentation

*

Communicating with customers, resolving queries, booking carriers and pallet collections, and ordering consumables

*

General administration tasks including filing, archiving, and shredding

*

Maintaining daily log sheets of delivery and collection activity

*

Completing KPIs and charge sheets

*

Assisting with picking and warehouse duties when required

*

Managing customer service inbox and communications

*

Protecting operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential

*

Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

*

Following CARE values and working collaboratively as part of the team

Requirements

*

Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is essential

*

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

*

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

*

Flexible approach to working across different sections of the operations team
