Thank you for your interest in the position of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at Filey Junior School. This role presents an excellent opportunity to begin, or further develop, your career, knowledge and skills within a supportive and collaborative staff team, while becoming part of our warm and welcoming school community.
At Filey Junior School, we are proud to offer a distinctive curriculum tailored to meet the needs of our pupils. Our specialist teaching model assigns each teacher one or two subject areas to deliver on a daily basis. This approach enables teachers to focus their planning on a smaller number of lessons each day, supporting both high-quality teaching and a healthy work–life balance.
We are equally proud of our commitment to technology. Every pupil is provided with their own Chromebook to support learning across the curriculum. In an ever-evolving digital world, we believe that equipping children with the skills and confidence to use technology safely and effectively is essential. By embedding digital learning within a safe and structured environment, we empower our pupils to excel in their studies and develop a strong understanding of e-safety.
We are now seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner, starting in January 2026, to join our experienced and dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ongoing journey towards excellence in all areas of education and to help create meaningful learning experiences and lasting memories for our children.
We look forward to receiving your application.
