Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
QA/QC Officer
to ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and production excellence. The role involves monitoring processes, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement in product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Conduct quality checks on raw materials, packaging, and finished water bottles.
* Perform routine laboratory and on-site tests (water quality, seal strength, labeling accuracy, etc.).
* Identify non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
* Ensure sanitation and hygiene practices across the facility.
* Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.
* Train production staff on SOPs, hygiene, and quality standards.
* Investigate customer complaints related to product quality.
* Ensure calibration and proper use of testing equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering (Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field preferred).
* Experience: 3–5 years in QA/QC roles within FMCG, beverage, or manufacturing industries.
* Skills:
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO, HACCP).
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
* Ability to train and coordinate with production teams.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance in Nepal.
