We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Care home Administrator to join Brandon House, part of our family-run care home business. Bliss Care has a strong ethos: to deliver nothing less than Outstanding Care for our residents.
This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of the home's day-to-day non-clinical operations. We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who can take ownership of administrative tasks that keep Brandon House operating efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and manage the staff rota, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
· Oversee and monitor Health & Safety compliance within the home.
· Handle the ordering of supplies and equipment to meet the needs of residents and staff.
· Provide general administrative support including data entry, document management, and filing systems.
· Handle incoming calls and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
· Prepare reports, records, and documents as requested.
· Support the team in various projects and initiatives related to the smooth running of the home.
· Organising events
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in an administrative role or similar.
* Care home admin experience preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
* Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to drive
* Within a reasonable commute of Exmouth
