About the Role:
* Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
* Assess student progress and provide effective feedback in line with school policies
* Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
* Take an active role in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities or literacy initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Have a degree in English or a related subject
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
* Be committed to high expectations and improving student outcomes
* Be reflective, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team
* Have excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
