HGV Class 1 Driver – Plant Machinery Transport Specialist
Location: South Norfolk
Pay: £18 – £21 per hour ( umbrella assignment rate )
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Driver Hire Norwich are looking for a dependable driver to deliver a high-quality service across Norfolk and Suffolk. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver with a passion for plant machinery and a commitment to safety. Experience in loading and securing big plant is a must.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Transporting a variety of plant machinery safely and efficiently
2. Loading and unloading equipment following safety practices
3. Conducting thorough vehicle checks and ensuring tachograph and transport compliance
4. Completing all delivery paperwork accurately and on time
5. Coordinating with the Hire Desk and Workshop to maintain smooth operations
What We’re Looking For:
6. Full HGV Class 1 licence with practical driving experience
7. Prior hands-on experience with plant machinery
8. Solid knowledge of health and safety practices
9. Self-motivated, dependable, and customer-friendly attitude
