This role is ideal for anyone with at least 6 months’ UK classroom experience, including Welsh-speaking graduates considering teaching, experienced Cover Supervisors, and Teaching Assistants looking to progress.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms to deliver pre-prepared lessons when the regular teacher is absent. You’ll be responsible for:
5. Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
6. Delivering lessons in Welsh where required
7. Keeping pupils engaged and on task
8. Supporting learners as they work through the provided materials
9. Ensuring school policies are followed and safeguarding standards maintained
What We’re Looking For:
10. Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
11. At least 6 months’ UK classroom experience
12. Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
13. Ability to follow lesson plans and support pupils effectively
14. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
15. The right to work in the UK
