Job Description:
Our client is expanding and is looking for a talented 3D Technical Designer with SketchUp experience to join their Projects team at their Farnborough headquarters. If you’re an ambitious, confident self-starter eager to be part of a growing creative company, this full-time, permanent position could be ideal for you.
As a 3D Technical Designer, you’ll collaborate with Project Managers to create exhibition displays. Using designs from Creative and Sales teams, you’ll produce 3D technical drawings, 2D schematics, and cut files to ensure flawless delivery of displays.

Responsibilities:
* Interpret 3D renders and briefs into T3 Framework (training provided)
* Create accurate artwork templates for print-ready artwork
* Develop construction drawings for effective stand assembly
* Produce 2D schematics and cut files for fabrication
* Generate parts lists
* Collaborate with Project Managers to meet deadlines
* Support production with CAD drawings for manufacturing
Requirements and Skills:
* Experience with 3D CAD, mainly SketchUp (preferred but not mandatory)
* Technical knowledge of construction and substrates is advantageous
* Draftsmanship / 2D CAD experience
* AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
* Initiative and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail
* Teamwork and effective communication
* Experience in the Exhibition industry is a bonus but not essential (training provided)
