The Role
Joining a highly regarded Tax team, you will work on sophisticated advisory matters across corporate and real estate transactions, supporting a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising on tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions
* Supporting corporate reorganisations and restructuring projects
* Providing expert advice on SDLT, VAT and employment taxes
* Structuring and implementing tax-efficient solutions
* Working closely with corporate, real estate and private wealth teams
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Contributing to team growth, strategy and mentoring junior lawyers
About You
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
* 8+ years’ PQE in corporate and/or real estate tax
* Strong expertise in M&A tax, restructuring and transactional tax advisory
* Detailed knowledge of SDLT, VAT and employment tax
* Proven ability to manage complex, high-value matters independently
* Excellent drafting, analytical and client relationship skills
* Commercially focused with a strategic, solutions-driven approach
Desirable:
* Experience working with owner-managed businesses, corporate groups or private equity clients
* CTA, ATT or equivalent tax qualification
* Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
* Interest in business development and practice growth

* £85,000 – £110,000 salary (depending on experience and seniority)
