* Promote the practical application and use of Project Control tools and techniques for successful programme delivery
* Guide Project Managers in the correct use of Project Control techniques, including scheduling, change control and earned value management, identifying and supporting training needs where required.
* Provide cross-functional support for the monthly project update cycle, supporting the Project Management community in understanding and proactively using key programme performance indicators
* Establish and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships in support of Project Control reporting and toolset development
* Ensure the project schedules and the project control systems in place for each project are fit for purpose by providing peer review support at key points in the project lifecycle
* Data Analytics, metrics and performance assessments through project and dashboard reporting, As a Project Manager PMO - Project Control, you deliver across a spectrum of Project Management and Project Control competencies, including project planning, scheduling, resource demand, governance, earned value management and portfolio management activities, through a central and integrated Project Management information environment. You will lead the deployment of Planning, Monitoring and Control within the business, in support of business and customer requirements. You will ensure the consistent application of integrated processes across the Project Management community, that will involve promotion of project control techniques, including earned value management.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Project Management Office, Project Management environment or a project delivery support role
* Demonstratable experience of the reporting and analysis of Project Control information, including Earned Value Management
* Experience of a Project Control Systems and toolset/s or an appropriate alternative
* Analytical skills, able to manipulate data and identify trends and able to coach the Project Management community in project control outputs, analysis and interpretation
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Project
* Familiarity with, and competence using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, knowledge and demonstrable practical experience of the SAP system would be of significant benefit
* Supportive, empathetic and capable of building effective working relationships at all levels of the business and across functional boundaries
