HR Training Officer - Maternity Cover 12 Months - Magherafelt Join a multi-award-winning manufacturing business as HR & Training Officer on a 12-month contract. Working as part of a busy HR team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations across employee relations, recruitment, training, wellbeing initiatives and payroll support, helping to drive a positive and high-performing workplace culture. The Role:

7. Acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers, you will provide advice on HR policies and procedures, maintain accurate HR records and systems, support onboarding and employee engagement initiatives, and assist with performance management and learning & development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
8. Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers
9. Support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activities
10. Assist with absence management, employee relations and performance processes
11. Prepare HR documentation, contracts and reports
12. Maintain HR systems and employee records
13. Support payroll preparation and benefits administration
14. Coordinate training and development activities
15. Assist with HR projects and policy updates
Essential Criteria:
16. Third level qualification in HR or related field
17. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
18. Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law and best practice
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
20. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
21. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively
