Overview
Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent several experienced SEMH teaching assistants for long-term, temporary to permanent teaching assistant roles in Loughton, Milton Keynes (MK5 8HD). If you are a SEND (SEMH) specialist who is available from September 2025, we would be keen to speak with you.
About the roles
If you are an experienced teaching assistant who has worked with pupils with SEMH or SEND across either primary or secondary phases, these roles may be for you. The positions are initially offered as temporary, full-time posts based at a brand-new alternative provision school. You will also have the opportunity to apply for permanent vacancies after the first half term. This is a brand-new 90-place school for pupils aged 7-19. Their pupils come from diverse backgrounds, but all have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Many will also have other SEN/D (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
About the ethos
This site is part of a national trust focused on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners. If you share a similar mindset and ethos, we would be happy to discuss the role in more detail.

* Substantial experience working with pupils with SEMH or SEND within an education setting.
