Assist with the daily ordering of dispensary stock as directed Receive stock deliveries from wholesalers and be responsible for checking invoices, unpacking and storage Maintain an accurate stock balance of all drugs within the dispensary on a daily basis. Dispose of expired drug stock and patient returns which comply with the medicine safety standards. Assist in the completion of the regulated Controlled Drugs Register Dispense and record private prescriptions and corresponding payments. Assist in the monthly completion of Form FP34 PPD.
Ensure dispensary equipment is properly maintained, cleaned and monitored (e.g vaccine fridge) Ensure the safe and secure storage of all drugs within the dispensary.
