E-commerce and Category Insight Associate Hybrid | Full-time | UK-based with Global Collaboration An outstanding Manchester based business are seeking a commercially aware and analytically minded graduate to join their team as an E-commerce and Category Insight Analyst. This is a newly created position and this hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to support both UK and international commercial teams by delivering clear, data-informed insights that drive performance across digital and retail channels. The role will focus on the development and delivery of reporting tools and dashboards, with a particular emphasis on e-commerce performance, category trends, and digital shelf metrics. Approximately 2030% of the role will involve supporting the APAC (Asia Pacific) region in collaboration with the APAC Category Manager. This is not a technical data analyst role, but it does require strong data literacy, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights for the business. Key Responsibilities Extract, clean, and validate data from sources such as Profitero, IRI, and retailer EPOS portals Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to support category and commercial decision-making Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis on online performance, digital shelf trends, and category dynamics Combine multiple data sources (e.g. Quantium, Profitero, IRI, internal systems) to generate insight Assist in preparing internal and external presentations and insight summaries Collaborate with global teams, including regular support for APAC reporting requirements Candidate Profile We are looking for a graduate with: A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Business, Economics, Marketing, Data, or similar) Some commercial or business experience (e.g. internship, placement year, or part-time role) Confidence in working with data including extraction, validation, and interpretation Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI or similar visualisation tools An analytical approach with attention to detail and data accuracy Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Flexibility to collaborate across time zones when required What We Offer Exposure to global markets and commercial teams across the UK, EU, and APAC Hands-on experience with industry-leading platforms and reporting tools A hybrid working model within a supportive and collaborative environment Development of commercial, analytical, and communication skills The opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making early in your career
