We are looking for a Landing Gear System Engineer to join our team in Filton.
Responsibilities
- Monitor in‑service occurrences of one or more aircraft programs for ATA32 (Landing Gear).
- Review and identify severity of in‑service events in the fleet.
- Manage any unsafe condition related to landing gear systems occurring in the fleet.
- Analyze and monitor implementation of proposed corrective actions.
- Communicate progress of activities to the Project Manager.
Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, ideally in Safety and Continued Airworthiness engineering.
- Experience with safety processes, regulations and guidelines (ARP 5150, Part‑21A).
- Good knowledge of aircraft systems, particularly landing gear and hydraulic systems.
- Track record of leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and staff members, delivering on time, cost and quality.
- Strong ability to lead and manage a project team.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
