We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic RGN/RN trained nurse to join our patient-focused, caring practice.
Responsibilities
* To be an active member of the Tower House Surgery Care Team, working with the partners and the Practice team to promote treatment, preventative care and patient education.
* Assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care to patients.
* Main areas of clinical responsibility: Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension, Cervical Cytology Screening, Family Planning, Travel Vaccinations, Flu Vaccinations, Dressings, ECGs. Removal of sutures, treatment of minor injuries, taking of swabs, Childhood Immunisations and any other clinical conditions identified by the Partners.
* Be proactive in health promotion/education and provide support to patients in changing lifestyle habits e.g., stop smoking, diet and exercise.
* Be active in Infection Control policy. Strong nursing skills in General Practice Nursing and personal development is encouraged. The ability to work in a busy team is essential. Located on West Wycombe Rd, we are a busy, patient-focused, caring practice.
