Electrician - Cornwall operational
Commercial - Renewables projects
Permanent position with a salary of £38,000 - £42,000 van, tools and fuel card.
A great opportunity to start a permanent operational role as a commercial electrician.
Work lists may vary from site to site. To plan, oversee, install and commission commercial on-site renewable energy and energy efficient systems. Working with a team or teams installing and possibly managing the installation and integration of renewable energy systems into commercial properties including:
Solar PV
Ground and air source heat pumps
EV Chargers
Energy Storage SystemsDay to day:
Installing and commissioning electrical systems.
Running cables
Working with inverters.
Communicate and work with design team, project managers, programming installation works.
Running smaller jobs independently.
To undertake risk assessments and to ensure that it is safe to work.
Liaising with clients, other members of staff or sub contractors on site.
Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment.
To bring any risks to the attention of the company management.
Complete all necessary job sheets, time sheets and other documentation as required.
To take responsibility of tools and equipment issued by the company.Requirements:
A driving license is essential to this role.
You will be provided with a company van and fuel card.
NVQ or City & Guilds level 3.
18th Edition.
JIB/ECS/CSCS card.
2391 test and inspection (Preferable but not essential)
AM2 (Preferable but not essential)
Previous experience as an electrician is essential.
Previous experience within the renewables sector is essential.
Good timekeeping.
Good at dealing with clients.
To conduct ones self professionally at all times.
