Job Description- AVP – Senior Business Analyst We are looking for a Business Analyst who will contribute in reducing manual touch points and process efficiency by understanding operational work-flows for projects within ISG Department. This role is critical in helping to shape and drive process and technology change across the Reference data department. Role requires analytical skillset in order to design, test and validate solutions and services for operational teams and clients. Communication and networking skills are essential to effectively cooperate with multiple stakeholders on various seniority levels across Product, Technology, Operations. Responsibilities Provide functional analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting for assignments. Ensure accurate and timely execution of the assigned tasks. Lead domain knowledge building and train the team as necessary. Estimation & Milestone planning for the project and provide estimates for the project Highlight Risk and issues at management level Extensive liaison and direct contact with diverse range of business and technology functions, both within the bank and with key vendors Good communication, good interpersonal skills and co-ordination activities, self-motivated, and inclination to constantly upgrade on new developments in the industry. Ability to understand business requirements easily and translate them into functional requirements. Capability to understand and analyze complex business and IT application along with financial product structures. Excellent documentation ability. Have experience in preparing requirement specifications and perform UAT. Experience, Skills & Qualification 10-12 years of overall experience in Investment Banking domain Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience as Business Analyst in Corporate actions & Reference data. Corporate Actions and Pricing experience will be an added advantage. Corporate Action Processing Systems Experience Preferred. Essential: Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on Business analysis experience in Investment Banking domain Must possess sound knowledge on Corporate Actions/ Pricing/Fund Accounting domain. Exposure to global client and understanding of global work culture Excellent written and spoken communication skills Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines. Must be prepared to work in a shift in line with regions supported including India night shifts Innovative approach to work and continuously identifies and implement process improvements.
