Course Team Leader English GCSE & FS36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Salary in the range of £40,548 to £47,939 per annumBased at Harrow-on-the-Hill & Harrow Weald Campuses We are seeking a Course Team Leader to lead the coordination and continuous development of the curriculum across GCSE and Functional Skills programmes.The role includes teaching across a range of programmes and playing a central role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of provision. You will work closely with the Section Manager to support quality assurance activities, including course health checks and external verification. In addition, you will contribute to the design and development of an engaging curriculum, incorporating extracurricular activities and meaningful employer engagement.You will possess a degree in English or a relevant subject, and either hold a Level 5 (or above) teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g.
DET, PGCE or Secondary sector) or be willing to work towards this, supported by the college. You will have a minimum of two years experience of teaching GCSE English and Functional Skills, preferably within a Further Education setting, as well as having some experience of curriculum co-ordination and development.We may be able to offer sponsorship for this role.Notice for Recruitment Agencies:HRUC operates with a managed service provider (MSP) for recruitment services.
