About The Role
You will gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills that will help you to pursue a career in procurement. Our busy Procurement Teams manage a spend of over £100m per year, liaising closely with various internal & external stakeholders to deliver best value solutions.
What you'll do
Liaise with various stakeholders to source a variety of materials for use on our construction sites.
Manage relationships to ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure all materials and low-risk subcontracts are purchased on time, to specification and at the best value.
Analyse market trends and spend patterns to secure the best value.
What you'll need
5 GCSE's grade A-C (4-9) subject must include English and Maths
1-2 A Levels or equivalent (BTEC/T Level)is desirable
Ability to work professionally as part of a team
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisation skills
A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
Ability to work on own initiative, to deadlines and under pressure
Accuracy and attention to detail
