An exciting opportunity to work with a world-leading global organisation. Manpower is looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their team. The role will be based at our client’s facility in Port Sunlight (future opportunities for hybrid working).
This is a full-time temporary role for 18 months with a view to extend. Working a 37.5-hour week Monday - Friday. This role is paying between £18,000 - £22,000 per annum.
The successful candidate will gain real on-the-job experience and can undertake a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship to support their career aspirations.
Manpower provides recruitment, HR, and account management services to our client. As part of this apprenticeship, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in recruitment processes, onboarding of employees, and the administrative tasks associated with these functions.
The apprentice will work with a friendly and experienced team and gain exposure to both white-collar and blue-collar environments, providing a well-rounded understanding of workplace dynamics.
Job Purpose:
To achieve agreed targets by ensuring the effective fulfilment of SLAs through the effective management of back-office activities.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in the onboarding of all new associates and industrial placement students
* Assist with payroll and any associates queries
* Assist associates with day-to-day queries and requests
* Provide administrative support to the Delivery Consultants and Managers
* Ensure the accurate maintenance of associate information
* Ensure that all activity complies with company policies, procedures and legal requirements including health and safety and employment legislation
* Issue clear and timely communications with internal and external key stakeholders with all updates on aspects of HR
* Participate in and support disciplinary action, evaluation and processes of employees
* Actively gain feedback from clients and associates on the service provided and take corrective action as necessary
* Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with Manpower’s values and standards
* Other ad hoc duties and project work as required
Personal Attributes:
* Confidence to approach new challenges
* Ability to liaise with employees from all backgrounds and positions in the workplace
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word

* The Apprentice is expected to fully commit to the apprenticeship programme, including meeting all coursework deadlines, attending scheduled training sessions, and actively participating in learning activities designed to support their development
