As an admissions officer you will be based in Epsom where you will be responsible for the admission of patients to our Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital. You will liaise with consultants, patients, carers, operating theatre and the duty manager to ensure bed availability.
As a Bank Admissions Officer your duties and responsibilities will include:
making room reservations for all in-patients
liaise effectively with Consultants, Secretaries and other internal departments
ensuring accurate documentation is maintained for in-patient records, including relevant financial information and enter all details into the current system
producing and distributing letters to patients, enclosing appropriate forms
ensuring Consultants instructions on making a booking are conveyed to the relevant department and make bookings for special investigations and/or equipment provision
liaising on a daily basis with nursing staff to ensure that all patient movements, admissions, transfers, and discharges are accurately reflected on the daily bed plan and admission list
informing Hotel Services teams of all admissions and room changes
