Amarone Edinburgh is now looking for a talented Full Time pizza chef to join our kitchen team. Amarone is part of the DRG, Scotlands largest independently owned restaurant operator, with 23 restaurants and over 1000 staff across Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Restaurants within the group are The Anchor Line, The Citizen, Atlantic Brasserie, Café Andaluz, Di Maggios, Cafe Andaluz, Barolo, and Cadiz. Competitive payrate depending on your skillset (for 45hrs a week an experienced chef can earn up to £43k per year including tips ) Fortnightly pay and generous share of tronc gratuities 5 day working week - 40-48hrs 28 holidays per year Great prospects for promotions within the company Pizza chef role: To assist the Senior Chef on duty with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items To prepare ingredients for cooking as directed by senior chefs To ensure that mise en place is completed in your section. To prepare menu items in collaboration with colleagues To optimise the cooking process with attention to speed and quality To follow strict health safety and food hygiene standards The ideal candidates will: Possess a genuine passion for cooking. Have experience in a like for like high quality operation You must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays and be comfortable working in a vibrant and busy environment.
