Overview
Position: Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing electrical and control systems across a variety of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Design electrical and control systems using EPlan Electric and EPlan Pro Panel
* Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including:
*
o Thermal calculations
o Safety evaluation reports
o Machine/plant layouts
o Bus network overviews
o Electrical arrangement and cut-out drawings
o Multi-line and single-line diagrams
o PLC and terminal strip overviews
o Terminal and cable diagrams
o Parts lists, window macros, and plot frames
Qualifications & Experience
* HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical design
* Proficient in EPlan Electric and EPlan Pro Panel
* Strong understanding of electrical and control components
* Familiarity with HSE, ISO, and other relevant safety and quality standards
* Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Full UK driving licence
* Must have the right to work in the UK
