Grant Engineering UK have an exciting role open up for a Senior IT Technician based in our Swindon office. This role is responsible for managing day to day activities for inhouse IT provision, including management of cyber security, network and server infrastructure, access management, asset management, user awareness and support. Covering a single, primary location with approx. 150 users with a second satellite reserve site. Some of the primary responsibilities include: Cyber & Physical Security Manage both cyber and physical security of IT infrastructure with support of external IT providers as necessary Setup & maintenance of Security Vulnerability and Patch Management tooling Infrastructure Management Manage day to day activities for inhouse IT provision, including management of network and server infrastructure, access management from first through third line support via in-house ticketing system. Ad hoc out of hours working required for maintenance that cannot be completed in office hours. Develop, maintain and regularly test the IT Business Continuity Plan to ensure resilience IT Asset Management: procurement of new hardware and software, lifecycle management, inventory management, and management of IT peripheral stock levels Management of company mobile telephony devices, including MDM and monthly monitoring of usage Super user administration and support of SaaS business applications This role currently manages one junior support role and a number of 3rd party suppliers. Reporting to Head of IT, Transformation and Facilities.
