We are seeking professional and dependable Exam Invigilators to support examination sessions across schools and colleges in the Harrogate area. This is a flexible, session‑based role ideal for those with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
The Role
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring exams run smoothly and in accordance with awarding body regulations. Duties include:
1. Preparing exam rooms and materials
2. Supervising candidates during exams
3. Ensuring exam conditions are maintained at all times
4. Collecting and securely handling exam papers
5. Responding to candidate queries in line with procedures

7. Strong attention to detail
8. Ability to follow instructions and work independently
9. Good timekeeping and reliability
10. Excellent communication skills
11. Availability during peak exam periods (typically morning and/or afternoon sessions)
Safeguarding
All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references, in line with safeguarding requirements.
Previous experience preferred but not essential.
